We’ve been wearing out your new Nor’easter CD, playing it over and over again. You folks did a wonderful job with this…. This is a really fun recording and I expect it’ll have a long and happy life with everyone who is lucky enough to discover it!

A Note from the Band
After more than 8 years of making great music together, we have decided to put Nor’easter into retirement. Nor’easter has been a great journey, and we are deeply thankful for all the support and encouragement we’ve gotten over the years. It’s been an honor to be given such a view of so much of the dance community and to have met so many remarkable people. Thank you to the dancers who danced with us, the folks who have hosted us and welcomed us into their communities, and the callers and musicians with whom we’ve shared stages. All of us continue to play and embark on new musical paths, which we look forward to sharing with you.
We’re playing our last dance on Thursday May 18 at our old stomping ground, the Concord Scout House, with caller Steve Zakon-Anderson. To commemorate the occasion, we will be donating the evening’s pay and the proceeds from our CD sales to two charities: the Concord Scout House and the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR). We look forward to sharing a last hurrah with many of you.
